Music/ Gelresai Chen
Gelresai Chen was born in 1982 and grow up in south east of Taiwan in
Taitung. His original name is Gelresai and means "good thing linger
around".
He came to Kaohsiung City to attended fine art high school, and he
happens
to be my classmate. After high school he relocated to Taipei, and
started playing music, writing songs, and do Art/ Design. In his recent
music we can find such a passion for life, and the life style he lives.
His music is full of life and sunshine, and when I listen to it I can
almost feel the summer breeze.

Music/ The Low Anthem
I discovered "The Low Anthem" about a month through Newport Folk Festival.
It's fascinating the older we get, we are more aware what we prefer or fancy about Music or lifestyle.
i guess "the taste" become sense of who we are.
The Low Anthem became one of my favor, their Music string along with me through many sleepless nights.
The Low Anthem is an indie folk band ( as many u know i am an indie folk nerd) based Providence, Rhode Island.
The Low Anthem was formed in 2006 by Ben Knox Miller And Jeffrey Prystowsky, follow year Oct 2007 they self-released their first album, was recorded in Miller's and Prystowsky's Apartments usin empty cereal boxes to fold into album sleeves to creating silkscreens for the album art.
Less than a year after The Low Anthem recored and self- released their second album, Oh My God, Charlie Darwin on September 2nd, 2008. in March 2009 the band had signed record deals with both American record label, Nonesuch Records and the UK label Bella Union. The labels re-released Oh My God, Charlie Darwin.
On November 2009, The Low Anthem Made their television debut on LATER…With Jools Holland. ( following youtube video attached)
on one of their recent interview, the band recorded their third album, in the abandoned Porino's pasta sauce factory in Central Falls, RI. so they can catch the empty large Loft space sounds in to their new album.
The Low Anthem is new truthful sound, i just simply appreciate.

Art/ William Kentridge
William Kentridge was Born in Johannesburg, South African in 1955. an artist perhaps best known for his animated films.
he filming a drawing, making erasures and change, and filming again, then continues this process meticulously.
these drawings are later displayed along with the films as finished pieces of art.
i first got to know William Kentridge trough Art:21 by PBS
i was amazed with his work, somehow the black and white animated img was remarkable fulfilling my art desire.
this fall Art:21 PBS 10.21 2010/10 p.m (ET) premiering William Kentridge new work : Anything is Possible.

Life Style/ Boardwalk Empire
HBO has done it again, after series "Angel In American" in 2004.
HBO came out with new television series Boardwalk Empire
Set in Atlantic City, New Jersey, during the Prohibition era.
the series debuted on September 19, 2010, but i didn't have chance to watch it until last night.
Boardwalk Empire with outstanding performing, provocative subject, bold, elaborate era costume,
also filming was done on a specially created set in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. magnificent film Set with remarkable details.
i give Boardwalk Empire 5 out of 5 stars!!!!
looking forward to see the next episode.

Music/ The Tallest Man on Earth
i'm a big fan of Folk/Alternative Music, recently i have been listening this band Called " The Low Anthem" since i enjoy the music so much i went on Yahoo Music (http://new.music.yahoo.com/) to search Similar Artists
then I found this man "The Tallest man on Earth" by Kristian Matsson born 1983 (27 years old)
from Leksand, Dalarna, Sweden .
it was interesting Kristian's Music is so American folk , but his is from Sweden( i guess there is swedish twist to it)
but I love his Music, check it out
